For over 15 years, craftsmen at Dungan-Tingley Chair Works have been creating 18th century style antique reproduction furniture, including select styles of Windsor chairs, traditional dining tables, hutches and other period pieces. Our furniture is built using old style, time proven methods. All of our table legs are made using mortise and tendon joinery and pinned with wood. The chair spindles continue through the bows and are wedged. Similarly, the chair legs continue through the seats and are glued and wedged. Table tops are hand scraped. The end result is furniture that is authentic, durable and timeless. We use American premium woods including tiger maple and cherry. With years of experience perfecting finishing techniques, owner Bill Morse personally applies the finish to each piece and insures that his high standards of quality are met before the furniture leaves the shop.
